Marble board and hard stones in console format. Empire style. The shape of the board makes it more suitable for use on a console, while the simple decoration based on geometric shapes and marked symmetry can be considered influenced by the French Empire style and reminds the samples that, sometimes, made the main European hard stone workshops to show the veins and colors of the materials they used, following a technique very similar to wood inlay, in their works since the 16th century.
